May 16-Wonewoc- Old Fashion Days, Center Street. 608-464-3114 June, 2011 June 12– Hillsboro: 25th Annual Cesky Den, Firemen’s Park, Friday at 6:30 p.m. kick-off party with Orv Konop and the OK Dance Band; Saturday, 10 a.m., Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchmen, 11 a.m. Czech dinner of pork and sauerkraut; 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., John Roehl Orchestra from Howard Grove, WI; 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Bob and Greg Blecha and Good Times Bouncing Czechs; on stage Saturday Domaci Folk Dancers (children performers), Yuba – Hillsboro Singers, crowning of the king and queen as well as the prince and princess, Miss Cesky Den Pageant, Youth Talent Show. Polka Mass, 5 p.m., celebrated by Monsignor Joe Slepicka; music and dancing throughout the evening.
