December 17: LaFarge, Kickapoo Valley Reserve. Snowshoe Hike. Traditional or modern snowshoes will be available for all participants. $5. Starts at 1 pm Saturday at the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.
The Kickapoo Valley has become renowned for it's fly fishing. We have even had fisherman travel from Arkansas to stay in our cabins and fish the local trout streams!
Groomed cross country ski trails are located nearby at Wildcat Mountain
State Park. Check with the park for ski conditions and
scheduled candle light night skiing.
Tunnels abound on the Elroy-Sparta Bike trail. Bike rentals are available at numerous locations along the trail.
